Scotts biopsy has been postponed due to his fever worsening and his rash spreading to most of his body. His doctor wants to determine what’s going on before performing the procedure.
He’s undergoing a CT scan right now, and will have additional blood tests performed.
Even though these things that are happening to him are expected, they are still scary… Not knowing what’s happening or causing the fever and rash is unsettling. Though a biopsy isn’t a pleasant experience, Scott finds comfort in information (we all do) and that being delayed for another week is frustrating.
