He’s just hanging out with his people.
Surprised? Us too.
His counts were back up to a safe level for him to be rereleased into the wild once more, so he’s able to come home!
His neuts were up to 1.5 today… Which is well above where he was when discharged last month. (He was 0.7 when we visited the clinic shortly after.) So to have recovered this much without the Neupogen booster is really encouraging.
He’s home with us for a week, and will go back for an appointment with Dr. L next Tuesday for his biopsy and to check his levels again.
Scott has lost a lot of muscle mass, quite quickly, and is very weak after this round, much more so than last time. Though he is less nervous than his last visit at home, he is much more physically weak. A high protein diet and continuing to rest will occupy the next week.
We’re so happy to have him home.

Hey Scott,
There is “No Place Like Home”!
You seem to have more than enough strength to deal with those two characters in the photo.
Almost nice enough for a golf game Scott. We are all dreaming and want you (and your money) on the course in short order.
And home in time for Super Bowl….too bad the dolphins are not playing in it.
Continue the move forward!
Scott and Marnie
