There isn’t much going on around here (which when post chemo, is a welcome thing).
Scott is still bottomed out, which means he is still highly susceptible to infection. It was confirmed this week that he does have C.Diff, but please do not be alarmed – they seem to have caught it early, and any gastro symptoms have subsided. It can be a very scary infection, but so far, not for Scott. When it was initially confirmed I was quite concerned, but aside from a 14-day cycle of antibiotics, and maintaining “Isolation” status in his room, it hasn’t changed much.
Scott has enjoyed a few good nights sleep, which is so helpful for him – not only for his body to rest, but as mentioned previously, for his mental game as well. His energy ebbs and flows throughout the day, and while it may start off chipper, the afternoons seem to bring fatigue and discomfort. But all things considered, he is doing very well.
Not sure if I mentioned this, but Scott brought in a TV this time – and it is a game changer! Being able to pass the (seemingly endless) time with shows and movies is so helpful. We have just enjoyed watching 2 seasons of Goliath in two days, which is something that under normal circumstances, we wouldn’t have the opportunity to do.

👍🙏🏼🕊💕 Love you all!
